TITAN Group
TITAN incorporates more than 40 companies involved in the production of a wide range of materials – from inert materials to various types of grey cement, white cement, concrete, dry construction mixes, fly ash, etc. The company owns and operates 13 cement plants in Southeastern Europe, the US and the Eastern Mediterranean with current overall output of more than 17 million tons. In Bulgaria, TITAN owns and operates Zlatna Panega Cement AD in Zlatna Panega, Lovech Region, and has invested more than EUR 86 million in modernization projects.
Evolution Environmental Group LLC (“E2”) worked with several of TITAN’s Southeastern Europe and Eastern Mediterranean plants since 2008 to support the development of their respective alternative fuels’ programs. This resulted in the design and construction of a Process Engineered Fuel (“PEF”) alternative fuel processing plant at the Zlatna Panega Cement facility in Bulgaria. Together, E2 and TITAN formed GAEA Green Energy Assets to independently manage and operate the facility to produce alternative fuel for the Zlatna Panega facility. GAEA is entering its fifth year of successful operations in Bulgaria and has begun operations in Egypt.

GAEA Green Alternative Energy
is a joint venture between Evolution Environmental Group LLC (“E2”) an American environmental and alternative energy company and Titan Cement SA (“TITAN”), a leading international manufacturer of building materials.
GAEA Bulgaria offers its waste solutions services to both public & private local entities through a service agreement with Zlatna allowing it to operate as an independent alternative fuel processing facility in Lovech region.
Co-processing in the cement industry is the optimum way of recovering energy and material from waste. It offers a safe and sound solution for society, the environment and the cement industry, by substituting non renewable resources with societal waste under strictly controlled conditions.
